Johnson County Adult Literacy Program is possible because of volunteers like you!

Volunteer Tutors can assist students in learning Basic Reading and Writing, Basic Math, or English as a second language.

JCALP is also interested in finding Event Volunteers to help at our Scrabble Tournament Fundraiser, Trainings, or participate in community outreach events. 

JCALP appreciates all of our  volunteers.

 

You do not have to have a degree in education-- just a love for reading and the desire to teach others the same.  

Tutors and students meet in person in Johnson County, Missouri.
